Software Signal Analysis for Engineers, Broadcast/Production, and Creative/Color

Drastic has updated our real time scopes with some important new features.  Along with providing all the standard audio/video scopes that all signal analysis instruments provide, we have now added:

- New ANC monitoring and configurable event capture
- Advanced IP/PTP timing monitoring for ST-2110/IPMX
- Up to 16 channel dBFS RMS audio meters
- Loudness monitoring of up to 4 stereo / 5.1 / 7.1 signals
- 5.1 and 7.1 Surround Sound monitoring

The world's most advanced software scope

We provide the most signal analysis of any software scope, rivalling the best hardware scopes in the industry.  Aside from the normal vectorscope/waveform/histogram/etc., our scopes provide advanced features like: ancillary data monitoring and decoding, multichannel audio loudness / surround / db monitoring, closed caption detection and decoding, chromaticity (601/709/P3/2020), audio wave/vector/phase, audio routing, MaxFALL/MaxCLL, out of range video levels, raw pixel view, and event capture with TOD and TC. We also provide multiple picture testing/analysis/views, more audio scopes, true multiplatform deployment, remote desktop, and direct web/html acccess/configuration.

Download the Scope and See for Yourself

To see the software in action, you can go to the product page and download a demo. Running the software should provide an automated option to request a trial license. For the new features, try 4KScope, for HDR workflows try HDRScope, and for ST-2110 see 2110Scope.

ancdataview small Ancillary Data streams are detected by DID/sDID and displayed as rows in the data view. Selecting an ancillary stream loads its details and hex data into the data section below, for real time display and analysis.
anc scope500 The ancillary detection page provides an overview of all ancillary data items present in the signal. For logging, a sensitivity dialog is provided so the user can capture ancillary changes with TOD and TC. Conditions include: Missing, Present, Appeared, Disappeared, Changed, or Occurred.
IPTiming small Our 2110Scope now provides an advanced IP Timing scope for monitoring the network timing of 2110/IPMX streams. This view includes raw timing and histograms for Vid/Aud/ANC Time and Packet Count, Avg/Mean PTP, Jitter, offset, and more.
surround5.1 500 5.1 Surround Sound setups include SMPTE, ProTools, AAC, and DTS, with first channel offset.  Mute and Over conditions have a 2 second delay, to make sure they are not missed
surround7.1 500 7.1 Surround Sound setups include SMPTE, ProTools, EXT, and Dolby, with first channel offset.  Mute and Over conditions have a delay like the 5.1 view.
16channel meters small Loudness meters in -23 EBU or -24 US loudness targets.  They support multiple stereo, 5.1, and 7.1 surround sound configurations, to match any standard broadcast audio setup.
16channel meters small A full set of up to 16 audio meters are provided with peak dBFS.  Each meter has a mute and over alarm, with delayed display so it won't be missed.
