Use those files as if they are local
Direct Editor Access in S3, Azure, and TAMS with no download/upload, proxy file, or third party server
Drastic's MediaReactor Lite and MediaReactor Workstation software include DTStreamFileCreator, which creates a small local file that allows your editor to use online assets with the ease of a localy stored file, but with all the benefits of cloud services.
Adobe and Avid editing applications do not 'see' cloud assets as files. Downloading then uploading the files is both time consuming and expensive. Proxy files may be quick and easy to use but still require a conform step. Third party server access is available but at a cost, and may not be the appropriate place for your valuable media assets. Our direct access solution lets you edit the actual files where they are - in the cloud.
Simply load the DTStream file in your editor and begin scrubbing through, making cuts, adding effects. Drastic's under the hood components show you frames, play your audio, show time code and anc data, and generally allow the creative to engage directly with the material while editing.
