DrasticScope Signal Analysis Software is a suite of software products for signal analysis. There is a free version, great for training and signal validation purposes, including low budget and no budget video workflows. There are also paid versions available for more fully featured workflows, including SDI/HDMI analysis, HDR/WCG workflows, and ST-2110/IP stream analysis.
We have recently added a number of professional scopes to the suite that you would expect to see only on far more expensive hardware based signal analysis devices, such as the Channel Plot, YCbCr Vector, Composite/Luma Peak, and 6 Bar Gamut scopes.

That's right, you can download Drastic's free waveform/vectorscope software and run it today! You can use the waveform for RGB or YCbCr signals, and the vectorscope with accurate primary graticules for 8 bit SD and HD. DrasticScope features a 2up layout, so you can use the picture next to one of the scopes and watch your signal as it is analyzed in the scope. There are two audio channels with dBFS RMS levels shown in on-GUI meters. DrasticScope supports AJA, Bluefish444, and Blackmagic hardware, as well as a number of USB/DirectShow devices for economical content creation workflows. The free version is ideal for low budget workflows, and training for video technicians. DrasticScope is free to download and run. It has an auto shut off, but this can be disabled with a simple sign in (name/email). Take me right to the Free Download |
