TestPatternGenerator is a software test pattern generator.
It provides over a hundred test patterns for signal path validation, AV Sync, Compliance, and Setup applications. Tones can be output along with the test pattern, as well as text overlay, closed captions, time code, frame counter, and more.
TestPatternGenerator provides a wealth of test patterns for testing, setup, and calibration of video and audio levels throughout your facility. It supports AJA, Bluefish444, Blackmagic, Matrox, NDI, ST-2110, and ScopeDirect for UnReal Engine outputs. TestPatternGenerator will use multiple outputs on capable hardware, and outputting different sizes and frame rate video is supported. As an add on to our DrasticScope software suite, it provides an excellent end to end signal testing and calibration solution, or you can use it as a standalone component of your setup tools.
Test and calibrate your audio/video synchronization with audio sync tones and a sync frame marker. AV Sync markers can be aligned betwen all output channels. AV Sync patterns from other manufacturers, like Tektronix, Lynx Technik, Bridge Technologies, and Sarnoff are supported as well.
Users can choose to overlay a watermark, add text overlay, overlay time code, and/or frame markers. A closed caption file can also be optionally loaded and will play over the test pattern.
Audio can be sent with the test pattern. User configurable audio tones include Sine Wave, Square Wave, white noise, pink noise, and a channel pattern beep.
