Drastic video I/O products will always capture side bar SCC (608 SD) or MCC (708 HD) text files if closed captioning is available.  SMPTE 436M is also captured, if recording a compatible MXF file type.  MOV closed caption track capture is also available, with a custom DDRConfig setup.

Video I/O products also support 608 and 708 insertion into the vertical blank area, if "Use Vertical Blank" is enabled.  Net-X-Code Server can read the MCC/SCC files, as well as MPEG-2 user closed caption (ATSC), Avid embedded, SMPTE 436 and MOV closed caption tracks.
